Anxiety to Calm for YOUTH
Join us for an informative and supportive workshop designed for:
- Youth (12-17 yrs) who struggle with anxiety
Topics addressed in this workshop include:
- How to respond effectively to stress
- Techniques for calming the mind and body
- Exercise and movement that can calm anxiety
- Nutrition for mental wellness
- The importance of quality sleep…and more!
Workshop Format:
6-week workshop, 1.5 hours in length – offered in-person
How do you get into the workshop?
- You can be referred by your RDPCN primary care provider or,
- If your primary care provider is part of the RDPCN you can self-refer by calling 403.314.3297
Participant Manual:
You will be required to purchase a participant manual for $20, available at the RDPCN Primary Care Clinic. A free pdf version is available online. If the fee for the participant manual creates a barrier for you to attend, speak with a staff member when you arrive for your workshop.
Your Commitment:
To get the most value from this workshop, we encourage you to attend each session and actively practice the skills you learn each week. Participants who make the course a priority, set personal goals, and stay motivated to practice daily typically experience the greatest benefits.
