Recreation Therapy

Program Format:
Adults (18+)
Individuals will have their first 45-minute appointment with a Recreation Therapist at the RDPCN Primary Clinic.
Any follow up appointments may be held at an alternate community site.

Who should attend?
For individuals who want to improve their physical, mental, and social wellness but are having trouble getting started.
You will:

• Explore your interests, strengths and discover enjoyable activities
• Receive support and education to adopt enjoyable recreation activities
• Develop a personal plan to overcome barriers

How to access service?

• You will be required to get a referral from your RDPCN primary care provider or,
• If your primary care provider is part of the RDPCN you can self-refer by calling 403.314.3297.
• If you are already seeing a RDPCN nurse, psychologist, mental health counsellor, or pharmacist you can ask them about a referral.
