Pharmacist
Who should attend?
For people who have medication related concerns. A pharmacist will review your prescription, over-the-counter and herbal medications to ensure you are taking the appropriate medications based on your health conditions and treatment goals.
Program Format:
Up to 2 hour appointment, with a pharmacist; A family member or friend can accompany you if needed.
How do you access this service?
You will need a referral from your RDPCN primary care provider or if your primary care provider is part of the RDPCN you can self-refer by calling 403.314.3297.
If you are already seeing a RDPCN nurse, psychologist, mental health counsellor, recreational therapist you can ask them about a referral.
Your commitment:
Bring a list of your questions or concerns, all your medications, pill box or organizer, natural products, vitamins, supplements and medications used occasionally.
Where is the service located?
At the Red Deer PCN Primary Clinic, or in some cases the pharmacist will make a home visit.
