Pharmacist
Program Format:
Adults (18+)
Individuals will have up to a 90 minute appointment with a pharmacist at the Red Deer PCN Primary Clinic.
A family member or a friend (18+) can accompany you if needed
Who should attend?
For individuals with questions or concerns about their medications. A pharmacist will review your prescription, over the counter, and herbal medications to make sure they are appropriate for your health conditions and treatment goals.
How do you access this service?
- You can be referred by your RDPCN primary care provider or,
- If your primary care provider is part of the RDPCN you can self-refer by calling 403.314.3297.
- If you are already seeing a RDPCN nurse, psychologist, mental health counsellor, or recreation therapist you can ask them about a referral.
Your commitment:
Bring a list of your questions or concerns, all your medications, including prescription and over-the-counter, natural products, vitamins, supplements and any medications you use occasionally.
Where is the service located?
At the Red Deer PCN Primary Clinic, or in some cases the pharmacist will make a home visit.
